Biographical Profile

Nana Owusu Addo, is known in private life as Mr. Stephen Owusu-Addo, and currently serves as the Apagyahene of the Atebubu Traditional Area. His enstoolment is of historical significance as he is the very first 

occupant of the Apagyahene office since the establishment of  the stool, giving him a pioneering role in shaping its legacy and institutional relevance.

 

He hails from the Ekoɔna clan, one of the eight foundational Akan clans. He is the son of the late Opanin Isaac Kofi Oduro of Mem and Maame Mary Owusua of Mem, both respected members of the Atebubu Traditional Area.

Professionally, Nana is a legal practitioner, international legal researcher, entrepreneur, farmer and philanthropist. His academic progression reflects excellence and international exposure, having obtained both LLB and LLM degrees from the University of East London, followed by the Law Practice Course at the University of Westminster in London. He is currently pursuing a PhD in International Law at Middlesex University, UK, further enhancing his intellectual and professional capacity.

 

Nana is married to Mrs. Naomi Owusu-Addo, and they are blessed with two daughters. He lives and works in the United Kingdom while maintaining active ties to the Atebubu Traditional Area. Alongside his legal expertise, he supplements his professional career with farming as an additional livelihood activity, reflecting his connection to land, heritage and productivity.
