Nana Obiri Yeboah Katakyie, known in private life as John Yeboah Adjei, is the current Nkosuohene of the Atebubu Traditional Area. His enstoolment is of significant historical value, as he is the first individual to occupy this newly established office, designed to promote development, innovation and progressive leadership within the traditional framework of Atebubuman. Nana hails from the Aduana clan. He is the son of the late Opanin Kwame Kyerantwi of Boniafo and Maame Akosua Addai of Akodwo. He is married and blessed with four children.
During his early years, Nana combined schooling with farming alongside his parents. He attended Atebubu SDA School, where his disciplined upbringing shaped his work ethic and desire for personal advancement. After schooling, he developed interest in construction work, which later became his full-time profession. Pursuing formal training, he obtained professional certification from the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) in the 1990s.
Driven by ambition and the desire for greater opportunities, Nana later traveled to the United Kingdom. While abroad, he established Forman Yeboah Construction Limited, a company through which he mentored many young men towards developing vocational skills and entrepreneurship.
Nana also contributed to philanthropic work among immigrant communities, helping individuals navigate documentation and settlement processes, demonstrating compassion and social responsibility. He is passionate about football and music, and maintains a calm, quiet and thoughtful personality. His leadership style is rooted in progress, youth empowerment and creating pathways for growth and improved livelihoods.
