Biographical Profile
Frank Adu Sarkodie was born on 24 January 1990 to the late Mr. William Adu Sarkodie and Madam Florence Amoako of Atebubu. He is a Professional Teacher and serves as a Special Royal Aide to His Royal Majesty Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, Paramount Chief of the Atebubu Traditional Area and President of the Atebubu Traditional Council in the Bono
East Region of Ghana. He is a Christian. Professionally, Mr. Sarkodie is an educator, mentor, and facilitator with over a decade of dedicated service in teaching and student development. His work emphasizes academic excellence, character formation, leadership development, and practical life skills. He possesses strong competence in classroom management, digital literacy, student engagement, and assessment design, contributing to measurable improvement in learner outcomes.
His teaching career began in 2015 at Kofi Djan SDA JHS in Kwame Danso, where he also served as School Health Education Programme Coordinator, leading student health education
initiatives. In 2017, he was transferred to Atebubu St. Thomas Aquinas R C JHS, where he served as a classroom teacher, Assistant School Secretary, and Assistant Sports Master. In 2022, he was posted to Atebubu Senior High School to teach Business Management and was later appointed Form Master.
Mr. Sarkodie received his early education at Quality International School, Mamponteng, Kumasi, and continued at St. Joseph Senior High School. He earned a Diploma in Basic Education from Atebubu College of Education in 2015 and a Bachelor of Education in Management from Valley View University, Kumasi Campus. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Consulting at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He has served as a Special Royal Aide since 11 July 2022, supporting His Royal Majesty Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah in royal duties, ceremonial functions, administrative responsibilities, and customary obligations in accordance with tradition and established order. In this capacity, he assists the Omanhene in the preservation, administration, and advancement of the customs and governance of the Atebubu Traditional Area. He accompanies the Omanhene to official and private engagements, both domestic and international, as duty requires.
Mr. Sarkodie is married to Mrs. Hilda Amponsah Ntiamoah, and they are blessed with one daughter. He is widely regarded for his humility, discipline, adaptability, commitment to service, and strong moral character. His appointment reflects royal confidence in youth leadership and embodies a deep sense of duty toward community development and the progress of Atebubuman.
