His Royal Majesty, Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, Paramount Chief of the Atebubu Traditional Area, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, embarked on a traditional courtesy visit to the Prangmanhene, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III, and the Abeasemanhene, Obrempong Kru Takyi II. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen unity, cooperation, and shared cultural heritage among traditional authorities within the region.
Ohempon was accompanied by members of the Atebubu Traditional Council and his Special Royal Aides. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by the respective Paramount Chiefs, elders, and community members in accordance with established customary protocols. The atmosphere was marked by dignity, mutual respect, and expressions of brotherhood.

In his address, Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah underscored the importance of unity among traditional leaders in promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development within their respective jurisdictions. He emphasized that collaboration between neighboring traditional areas remains essential in confronting shared challenges and advancing the welfare of their people.
He further highlighted the need for sustained dialogue and strategic cooperation in key areas such as education, youth empowerment, agriculture, and infrastructure development. According to Ohempon, when traditional authorities speak with one voice and work collectively, they create stronger platforms for engagement with government institutions and development partners.

During the visit, Ohempon formally informed the two traditional rulers of Atebubu’s hosting of the upcoming Meko Bono Cultural Festival and extended an invitation for their full participation and support. He noted that this year’s celebration marks the fifth anniversary of the Meko Bono Cultural Festival and presents a significant milestone in the promotion of Bono heritage and cultural unity.

In their respective remarks, the Prangmanhene and the Abeasemanhene expressed deep appreciation for the courtesy visit and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining harmonious relationships among the traditional councils. They acknowledged the value of continuous engagement and pledged their support for initiatives that foster unity, peace, and collective progress within the Bono area.
The visit concluded with customary exchanges and renewed assurances of cooperation. The engagement stands as a further testament to the commitment of His Royal Majesty Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah to strengthening relations among traditional authorities and advancing collaborative traditional leadership for the development of the people.
