Biographical Profile
Samuel Tuah, also known as SK or Oheneba Tuah, was born in 1986 and hails from the Daben family of the Asona clan in Atebubu. He is the son of the late Omanhene of Atebubu, Nana Owusu Akyeaw Brempong II, of the Atebubu Traditional Area and Madam Paulina Akua Kyerewaa. He received his early education at Atebubu Anglican Primary and JHS, and completed his secondary education at Atebubu Senior High School.
He is an alumnus of Atebubu College of Education, where he studied from 2008 to 2011, and the University of Education, Winneba, from 2012 to 2014. During his time at the College of Education, he served as the first Vice President of Ampong Yirenkyi Hall following the transition from houses to halls.
Mr. Tuah began his teaching career in 2011 at Owusu Asare Primary School. His commitment and leadership contributed significantly to the establishment of Owusu Asare JHS, where he was posted in 2013. In 2015, he was appointed the first Assistant Headmaster of Owusu Asare JHS, a position he continues to hold, contributing to academic excellence as well as cultural and sports development.
Beyond education, he has served in various public and community roles, including work with the Atebubu S.D.A. Cooperative Credit Union and the National Health Insurance Scheme. He has participated in numerous professional trainings and national assignments covering transparency and accountability, electoral supervision, child welfare surveys, ICT proficiency, teacher professional development, national identification registration, and curriculum implementation.
Mr. Tuah is a professional teacher with the rank of Assistant Director II (AD II). He brings discipline, loyalty, administrative competence, and cultural consciousness to his role as Special Royal Aide to the Atebubumanhene, serving with dedication at the Piabire Palace.
Since 11 July 2022, Oheneba Tuah has served as a Special Royal Aide to His Royal Majesty Ohempon, with authorization to travel and accompany and attend to the Omanhene at official cultural and ceremonial engagements. His duties include ceremonial accompaniment, support in formal cultural proceedings, and the symbolic representation of traditional authority. He ensures that the Omanhene’s dressing, seating, and related ceremonial arrangements are properly prepared and executed in advance at all functions.
