Biographical Profile
Nana Owusu Aduomi, known privately as Mr. Owusu Stephen, is the Anantahene of the Atebubu Traditional Area. He is widely recognized as a hardworking traditional leader, farmer and businessman whose commitment to service and community development has earned him deep respect within Atebubuman. Nana hails from the Asona clan, one of the prominent matrilineal clans of the Akan. He is the son of the late Kofi Gyan of Fakwasi and the late Maame Abena Tuah of Amanfro.
He is married to two wives, Mrs. Martha Asantewaa and Mrs. Rita Tuah, and together they are blessed with seven children.
Nana’s entrance into traditional leadership began on 2 November 2011, when he was enstooled as the Odikro of Amanfro. His leadership tenure was marked by fairness, proactive community engagement, and a strong commitment to development.
His performance as a local leader distinguished him within the traditional structure. As a result of his impactful service and loyalty, the Omanhene of Atebubu Traditional Area, Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, elevated him to the senior office of Anantahene on Monday, 26 February 2024—an important milestone that affirmed his leadership excellence and earned him recognition at the divisional level.
